This is a project that you can do solo, or you can gather volunteers from your group, and have lots of fun0making handmade greetings!
You can make gorgeously decorated cards, with or without a Bible Verse, and leave them blank inside. You can also create cards for several occasions, such and birthday and Christmas cards.
You can sell the cards individually or package them together if you wish. You are only limited by your imagination.
The proceeds of the sale can go to raise funds for your church, organization, or charity of your choice.

Community Outreach Projects
Many clubs and organizations have a community service factor. If your group is looking for a fun, unique, and creative community service project, why not create hand made greeting cards with one of these great projects!
Civil Service Cards:
Your club can create gorgeously uplifting thank you cards for Police, Firefighters, Teachers, or any other local "heroes" you choose.
Armed Services:
Fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters are fighting for our freedom, your club can create supportive cards to let them know that we have them in our prayers and hearts.

Our fellow Sisters and Brothers who spread the word of God to those who don't yet know Him truly do good work in this world. What a wonderful act of community service to create and send prayer cards and greeting cards to them as an expression of fellowship and support

Here's how it works:
Let's say you have 20 volunteers who gather 25 pledges of $1 per card, if they were to make 10 cards each, then each volunteer will collect $250, which raises a total of $5,000 for your organization, minus the cost of supplies.
Here are a few examples of Pledge Drives you can organize:

* Make a fun interactive event of this as all volunteers gather in one place for one goal. Encourage a huddle-prayer before each event (if you have creation time spread over a weekend or a few days)

* Creation time should be within 3-6 hours, you don't want to burn out your volunteers
* Give the volunteers a daily creation goal for the time period.
* Plan a break mid-shift, for at least 15-30 minutes, to give volunteers a chance to check their progress, don't forget to say a prayer or peptalk.
* Encourage a party or pot luck at the very end of the event.

Creative Challenge! Wallet Tag
This Creative Challenge is an great diy idea for a "two-for" craft, which means you get two crafts in one. Tags for scrapbooking and mini-scrapbooks are becoming very popular with crafters. It is fun to create and to collect these hand made tags. Typically they are small, but they can really be any size you wish.
This challenge is to create a wallet-sized tag to include in your card - that way whoever receives your card can remove the tag to collect. How fun would it be to not only receive a home made card, but to also have a keepsake to refer to whenever you need cheering up! How wonderful is it to know that you can give this to a friend, what a blessing to know that you can create such a gift for someone else.

Footprints - A Christian Poem
This wonderful Christian poem was inspired by the Bible Verse, Deuteronomy 31:6. This poem beautifully illustrates the Word of God as He tells us our Lord will never leave our side
Footprints
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

An Angel on My Shoulder - a Christian poem
This popular Christian poem was inspired by the Holy Bible. As Psalms 91:11-12 tells us, God sends angels to us. This poem is a wonderful to share with a friend of loved one to remind them that they are in good hands.
An Angel on my Shoulder
There's an angel on my shoulder,
Though I've never heard her sing,
I know she keeps me safe each day
And close beneath her wing.

or rest in clouds all day.

The Lord is My Shepherd Psalm 23:1-6
This Bible passage is one of the most popular prayer verses. This poem tells us that if we follow the Lord and trust in Him to guide us, as sheep to their shepherd, we will not be led astray; and no matter how hard or dark the path may be, the Lord will deliver us safely. Such an inspiring prayer to share with Friends and loved ones!

These comforting Bible Verses let's us know that we don't have to be afraid because the Lord will protect us and send angels to keep us. The Serenity Prayer is arguably the most popular Christian poem. This all inspiring poem reminds us that God is in control. What a happy thought! This poem has inspired recovery and healing in countless individuals. As Proverbs 16:24 tells us, "pleasant words" can heal.

Christmas and Easter Bible Verses
